The SVS Stryker TTRS achieved 4 world
records with this 1 standing mile run of 231.66mph that was achieved in
Oct 2007 at the Maxton Monster Mile in N.C. The TTRS is now the worlds
fastest production car in the standing mile.

Mercedes will not be
increasing the power under the hood, which remains at
514hp. That doesn’t mean we won’t see other mechanical
changes such as improved brakes but we’ll have to wait
for the official announcement to find out.

their new Porsche 9FF GT9 set to enter the record books
as the world’s fastest production car with a claimed top
speed in excess of 250mph. As far as production cars go,
the Porsche 9FF GT9 is about as exclusive as it gets,
with only 20 examples expected to see the light and each
priced at $853,634. Although the car is loosely based on
a Porsche 911, its mechanical package has been totally
revised.
Factory Five Racing
has created a do-it-yourself kit car, which owners can
build with the powerplant of their choice ranging from
350hp to 515hp which inclutes the Corvette Z06 engine.
The Factory Five Racing GTM supercar is a ready-to-drive
V8 powered, mid-engine car with a composite body shell
and an aluminum and steel tube frame chassis. The car’s
final kerb weight is 2,250lbs.
